Just to let people outside the Lower Mainland that there is a lock on the gate and you need to know someone that goes to the ponds that has the code for the gate. This was because people would walk their dogs in the ponds and it was meant for birders only. I haven’t been for a while so I don’t know if they changed the rule. So contact someone from the Vancouver Natural History Society before you go.
